The Center is open to the public on Wednesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and by appointment.
During the month of August, the Archives and Research Center is open by appointment only.

From DC: Take Connecticut Avenue north through Chevy Chase Circle. Continue along Connecticut Avenue / MD-185 for 1.5 miles. The Chevy Chase Library will be on the right, immediately after the Chevy Chase Fire Department.
From the Beltway/ I-495: Take Exit 33, Connecticut Avenue / MD-185 South for approximately 1 mile. At the traffic light immediately after the Chevy Chase Fire Department, turn left onto Dunlop Street. The Library’s parking lot is the second driveway on the left.
There is ample free parking in the library’s lot.
