ATTEND AN EVENT

Architects, historians, authors and other authorities lecture on a variety of subjects at two general membership meetings a year that are open to the public. Topics are wide ranging and have included Civil War Chevy Chase, the history of suburban development, architectural styles in Chevy Chase, the old trolley line, and the community during World War II. The CCHS provides lectures, information, photographs and exhibits for libraries, schools, historical organizations, civic groups and special county and state events. More than 20 illustrated exhibits have been preserved for future use in the community.  Members of the CCHS look forward to the yearly Spring Gala, which showcases a residence of architectural or historic significance in Chevy Chase.
